VacationCity is the World's Leader in selling Costa Rica Vacations. Daily our Travel Agents receive contacts from tourists by phone, chats and email that need assistance in planning their vacation to Costa Rica. Travel Agents are the critical connection between the customer and vendor of the service that the customer is wishing to book. Our Agents first listen to the customer's needs and desires and then discuss with them their options. Next we check for availability and finally we book the reservations. All of this is done using quick & easy modern technology though our fabulous website and custom programs that give the Travel Agents complete confidence and control over the customer. Our agency works with all areas of tourism in Costa Rica and we are equipped to offer all services. Travel Agents are experts in helping tourist with how to move within the country, where to stay & what to do. By helping the customer select the right hotel, connecting them with the correct means of transportation along with the offering them the perfect way to spend their free time we make their vacation experience memorable.

Requirements
Travel Agents are required to have extensive country knowledge, prior sales knowledge, be bilingual in reading, writing and speaking, professional, and must have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package, Internet Explorer and Email. Any prior tourism knowledge will be helpful but prior Travel Agent experience is preferred.

Expected Earning Potential
Travel Agents receive a base salary between $500 & $600 per month plus BIG sales commissions. Depending on country knowledge & sales ability the earning potential for Agents is currently between $1,000 & $2,500 per month but this is expected to increase over the next 6 months.

Work Schedule
Applicants must be able to work rotating schedules of days, nights & week-ends. Our office is open 365 days per year, Sunday to Thursday from 7:00am to 9:00pm., Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Agents work alternating schedules from 7 am to 4 pm, 9 am to 6 pm and 1 pm to 9:00 pm.

Job Description
Groups, Groups and more Groups are the job of this lucky candidate. This person will work daily with our vendors to produce group contract rates for lodging, transportation, day tours, meals & flights. The areas in which you will be working in are; Group Discounts, Group Packages, Custom Group Planning, Incentive Groups, Corporate Groups, Church Groups, Group Transportation, Golf Groups, Mission Groups, Group Adventure, Spring Break Groups and Volunteering Groups. This individual is also responsible for all Events, Meetings, Gatherings and Seminars.

Requirements
Applicants must have had prior Group coordination experience with strong references. They Must be 90% bilingual in reading, writing and speaking and must have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package, Internet Explorer and Email.

VacationCity is proud to announce the hiring of a wedding coordinator that will join our staff. The candidate chosen to be our wedding coordinator will work with "Brides to be" by helping them with everything from just a simple wedding cake to a full blown Wedding in Costa Rica! This person will be working with our Groups Catalog to produce Custom Wedding Estimates for couples wanting to be married here. In working directly with the Bride & Groom you will be responsible for accommodations, transportation, day activity's & meal coordination along with the actual onsite items such as music, flowers, minister's photographers etc...for the wedding. The job also includes working with our new "Extreme Weddings" category that offers couples the chance to have crazy fun weddings that they and their guest will remember for sure.

Job duties include: Working with our product catalog, entering new products, cancellation policy's, rates, typing and reviewing contracts, entering specials & promotions, controlling data input in our systems and entering new vendors after meetings and negotiations are finished. You will be working with hotel, all-inclusive, car rental, day tour, motorcycle, helicopter, private charter, limousine, packages, spa, and etc information. The applicant chosen for this job will work directly under the Marketing & Sales Manager and the General Manager.

Requirements
Must be able to type a Minimum of 45 words per minute, must be 70% bilingual in reading, writing and speaking and must have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package, Internet Explorer and Email. Knowledge in tourism or the understanding of Databases will be very helpful.

Expected Earning Potential
Depends on Experience but can range from $400 to $600 per month.

Work Schedule
Monday to Saturday 7:00am to 4:00pm, With every other Saturday Off except when necessary.

A Website Text Optimizer writes page text related to various areas of tourism in a creative manner in order to pre-optimizing our website. The information written is gathered from either sit down interviews with product vendors that come to our office, printed material that is supplied by the vendor or through internet and book research preformed by the writer. The text size written varies from 25 words (a short paragraph) to a full story of 600 words. Writers use our text programs to write and upload what they have written.

Requirements
Must be 90% bilingual in reading, writing and speaking and must have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package, Internet Explorer and Email.

Expected Earning Potential
$4.00 per hour.

Work Schedule
Minimum of 40 hours per week is required.
